Snow Angels Part
of Memorable Wedding
November 2003
Try
telling Matt or Diana Morrison that marriage isn't always bliss, and
they might have a hard time agreeing with you. After all, they're coming
up on the first anniversary of their memorable wedding, and they have
yet to see the down side.
Getting married is still a thrill because
Matt was always told he wouldn't be able to do it. In fact, doctors
estimated he wouldn't live past age 17 after being born with spina bifida.
But that was over 33 years ago, and last year he married the former
Diana Lofton in a magical wedding ceremony.
While helping plan the wedding, Matt's
brother Cory stumbling across pianist Jared Johnson's song Snow Angels
on Jared's Web site last October. He thought it was a perfect compliment
to the "Winter Wedding" theme, which was being planned complete
with a snow-covered path and sparkling winter-white trees. The couple
quickly agreed that Snow Angels needed to be a part of the wedding.
"I played it for them and they
fell in love with it," said Matt.
He ordered the sheet music, and a friend
of the family performed the song at Matt and Diana's wedding on December
14, 2002. The couple remains delightfully happy nearly a year later.
"We are both extremely happy and
we love being married! Our home is full of laughter, and we believe
that's what makes any marriage stand the test of time! Can you believe
it's already been a year! Time flies when you are having fun,"
said Diana.
Snow Angels remains a perennial
favorite among Jared's fans and is being offered as a free download
to share this Christmas season.
