Unspoken During my two years
in Colorado, Christmases had a different feeling. My first holiday season
was spent with strangers, and I longed for parents and friends to share
the special day with. By the next year, my position had completely reversed.
Although I was still apart from family, I had made life-long friends and
had a special experience feeling part of a much larger family. That Christmas
morning, I sat down and wrote Unspoken in a few minutes. Few songs
come so easily. Unspoken refers to feelings such as the one I had that
day, feelings that cannot be described and that often go unmentioned.
On those occasions, no one need discuss it since everyone feels the same
warmth and unity.
